Position Summary
Guggenheim Investments seeks an exceptional candidate to join as a Senior Associate on its Policies Procedures and Controls Team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Head of Policies Procedures and Controls and the Office of the President with creating new and amending existing policies procedures process flows checklists forms and other supporting documentation to ensure accuracy completeness and consistency. Excellent teamwork leadership and communication skills are critical for success in the role. Additionally candidates must have the experience and ability to understand and document complex operational and other investment management related processes and workflows. The position will report to the Head of Policies Procedures and Controls.
The position is located in the firm’s New York office.
Essential Job Functions
• Work with internal stakeholders and senior management to strategize and formally document policies, procedures, checklists, and other supporting documentation.• Ensure new and revised policies and procedures are effectively distributed and communicated to the organization.• Ensure that minimum policy and procedure requirements are adhered to.• Define and track project and deliverable milestones. Assist with the creation of project status reports.• Ensure related project deliverables are completed on time.• Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day relationships and communications with stakeholders necessary for success of projects and initiatives.• Ensures end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable benefit.• Assist in maintaining and cataloguing the inventory of documentation, including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, status reports, user manuals, checklists, and calendars.• Create, enhance and maintain PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio documents including, but not limited to, ensuring consistent formatting, professional appearance, accuracy and up-to-date information.• Assist with the creation of agendas, meeting and executive summaries and key takeaways for responsible parties.• Support the team with ad hoc deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of four to seven years work experience in a financial services organization.• Bachelor’s Degree required.• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workload.• Proven track record in delivering value-add results while working under pressure and tight deadlines.• Proactive and solutions-oriented; innovative.• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills; Able to identify and effectively communicate issues.• Ability to forge strong relationships across functions with internal contacts.• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.• Collaborative, energized by the open exchange of ideas.• Able to adapt quickly with the constant evolution of the company and industry.
Salary Details
Annual base salary between $110,000 to $120,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
