Position Summary
Vista Equity Partners is looking for an Analyst to join our Capital & Partner Solutions (CAPS) team, focused on advancing our business processes to further the operational efficacy of the organization. This role will partner across the CAPS team including product, project management, coverage, and operational roles and have exposure to firm stakeholders including legal/compliance, finance, and firm operations.
This role requires both a strategic and operational mindset, a desire to address issues as they arise, the ability to develop processes to operate at scale, and energy to bring new ideas to a rapidly growing organization.
This role is based in Austin, TX or New York, NY and is for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Participate in identifying and implementing new processes, technologies, and solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the CAPS team
- Partner with team to develop best practices and ways-of-working between centralized CAPS operations function, CAPS team, and our business partners
- Build, scale and implement governance standards across areas of CAPS
- Partner with teams for annual and quarterly business plan creation and management; partner across the organization to cascade and adjust priorities on a real-time basis
- Support biannual planning processes through the creation of the CAPS calendar of events by campaign and market engagement at large
- Manage internal approval processes across legal, compliance, finance and other business partners
- Centralize budget management and strategy to include annual budget process, tracking and invoice approvals
Qualifications
- Ability to work proficiently within Microsoft Office and project management tools like Wrike, Monday.com, Teamwork or others
- Comfortable with finding resolution through ambiguity
- Self-motivated and excited by the potential to own what you do, you have the willingness to learn and adapt as needed
- Multi-tasker and connector, as well as an organized operator who executes on both internal and external responsibilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
- Knowledge of key project management concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope, and tasks
- Strong business analysis & problem-solving skills, and an ability to trace problems through multiple steps to identify solutions
- Clear communicator with the ability to manage through influence and effectively convey objectives, opportunities and challenges in a productive, collaborative manner
- Thoughtful business judgement to quickly identify, assess and make recommendations to control risk
- Strict control over quality to include accuracy of information and polish of deliverables
- Mastery of fundamental task management to get things done, on time and to specifications
- Scheduling know-how with ability to breakdown goals into a timeline with clear tasks, ownership, dependencies, and milestones.
- Strong organizational instincts to provide order, clarity and visibility at the macro and micro level
- 3-4+ years of experience in an operations, project, or program management capacity in financial services industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000 - $120,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other components may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
