Job Description
Position: The Institutional Equity Research Sales team is actively looking to hire for the New York City office.
Role:
- We are looking for a salesperson to work with several salespeople on the institutional sales desk in NY. You will be working closely with salespeople that are focused on asset managers and hedge fund accounts. You will be engaged in account organization and maintenance including client contact information, client interaction tracking and research subscriptions.
- In addition, you will be helping clients with conferences, summits, corporate access, and ECM deals. This role will grow into writing up stock ideas and engaging with clients. We are looking for a self-starter who is motivated with high energy and a great attitude.
Required Background:
- Superb organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and present conclusions concisely
- Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in aspects of work product
- A resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player
- Ability to communicate and execute concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity and target messages to different audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multi-tasks at the same time
- Series 7 & 63 licenses
- One to three years of experience
- Japanese Language skills a plus
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $150,000.
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
