Scope
Houlihan Lokey is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Operations & Editorial Associate to join our Internal Communications team. The role focuses on managing and optimizing the content pipeline for our corporate intranet, helping to originate, write, and proofread internal communications, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate communications, content management, and editorial workflows. This role offers both hybrid in office and 100% remote opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Own the content calendar for the corporate intranet, ensuring that deadlines are met and relevant content is delivered on time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the firm, coordinating content submissions from various departments.
- Assist in originating, drafting, and proofreading a variety of internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and employee updates.
- Ensure that all communications are accurate, clear, and aligned with the company's tone and messaging guidelines.
- Manage the content flow on the company’s intranet platform, including posting, updating, and optimizing content for user engagement.
- Monitor user feedback and analytics to continuously improve content relevance and effectiveness.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure internal communication initiatives align with company-wide objectives.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams to gather information, manage approvals, and ensure content consistency.
- Develop and implement best practices for internal content creation, approval workflows, and publication.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the content management process and improve editorial efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the Internal Communications team, HR, and key stakeholders across departments.
- Act as a content manager and point of contact for intranet communications.
- Manage existing relationships with third-party vendors and software providers to ensure communication/intranet tools and platforms are up to date and optimized for user experience.
Experience And Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, content management, or editorial roles.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience managing content calendars and working with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), intranet platforms, and publishing tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Salary Range
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$33.66-$43.27
