Serves as the Business Partner point of contact for multiple core FAS (Financial Advisor Services) subdivisions. Responsible for overseeing and managing segments of the FAS Data and Analytics portfolio of work, partnering within CDAO (Chief Data and Analytics Office) and FAS to advise and determine how to maximize business value by leveraging data and analytics. This is a highly visible role that will engage with senior leadership across high priority functions within Vanguard Data & FAS teams.
CDAO-FAS is looking for a collaborative, client focused and results-oriented professional to support the portfolio of work for FAS Marketing and Advisor Solutions. This is a unique opportunity that will directly enable the vision of continuing to bring business, technology, and data closer together. You will partner closely with members of the FAS CDAO leadership team, the FAS business and other CDAO teams to help optimize client portfolio transparency & delivery, mature stakeholder communication & partnership, and improve business outcomes. The ideal candidate should possess strong relationship management skills, and previous experience with Data and Analytics teams. Having financial services background a plus!
This Hybrid position (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) based in Malvern, PA.
In this role you will:
- Set data strategy and resource alignment in partnership with assigned stakeholder groups.
- Manage complex relationships with multiple internal stakeholders. Support strategic planning for data teams and aligned clients. Track new opportunities, contribute to business planning activities, and drive client engagement through strategic and consultative guidance.
- Proactively assess client needs through strategic planning and consultations. Recommend service and operational enhancements. Present recommendations to key client decision makers.
- Resolve complex client issues related to data, products, services, or processes. Oversee the development and implementation of potential solutions to meet client needs.
- Responsible for producing executive level content to enable client understanding, proficiency in PowerPoint, a must.
- Drive prioritization with aligned clients and create transparency into backlog and capacity management. Evangelize value delivered through data and analytics.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal team members to ensure that outcomes deliver business priorities.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial services, data and analytics, marketing analytics, technology, strategy, and/or relationship management functions.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ supporting financial services intermediary sales and/or marketing
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience. Master’s degree a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to recognize and develop constructive ideas.
- Proven time and priority management skills. Ability to work independently and with a team. Strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proven ability to initiate, plan and execute projects, and produce timely deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships with clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meeting management and group presentation skills.
