As the Senior Investor Relations Manager, you will work with the Head of Investor Relations and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the relationships between our company and the investment community. Key Responsibilities:
Investor Communications
- Develop strategic communication plans to effectively convey the company’s financial performance, growth strategies and value proposition to investors and analysis.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports and other materials for investor meetings, conferences and roadshows
- Manage the investor relations section of the company website, ensuring timely updates of financial information, press releases and other relevant content
- Attend investor meetings and prepare meeting notes and timely follow-ups.
Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors, analysis and other key stakeholders in the financial community
- Organize and participate in investor meetings, conferences and other events to promote the company’s investment thesis
- Respond to inquiries from investors and analysts providing accurate and timely information while ensuring compliance with disclosure regulations
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, monthly and quarterly investor reporting and prospecting, and maintain IR databases.
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Collaborate with the Finance team to analyze financial results and markets trends, providing insights to senior management
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and processes across the organization, including creating materials to support earning calls, analyst meetings, and shareholder engagement.
- Monitor and report on stock performance, peer comparisons and investor sentiment
Strategic Support
- Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to senior management to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments (e,g, Finance, Legal, Marketing) to ensure consistent messaging across all communications
- Support crisis management efforts by developing appropriate investor communication strategies when needed
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, economics, or mathematics.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, preferably at an investment bank, asset manager, or within investor relations.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, valuation methodologies and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including the ability to effectively engage senior leadership.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Even keeled, detail-oriented individual with a client-first mindset and a strong sense of integrity
The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Connecticut and NYC is $132,000 - $165,000
