About This Role
BlackRock Manager Research (BMR) within the Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions group (MASS) generates alpha through disciplined manager research, selection and monitoring across public and private asset classes, with dedicated investment professionals across three specialized pillars: Investment Due Diligence (IDD), Operational Due Diligence (ODD) and Quantitative Due Diligence (QDD). BMR Technology & Data Solutions function is responsible for developing innovative and scalable solutions underpinned by a robust data framework.
We are seeking a Data Management Analyst to join the Data Solutions team within BAA in Seattle. The team’s focus is to improve the quality, organization and accessibility of manager data and innovate and explore new technology tools to help BMR grow. The candidate will support information management efforts utilizing BlackRock’s proprietary database and third-party platforms.
Candidates should possess intellectual curiosity as well as a proven track record of working in a dynamic and collaborative environment across teams. Successful candidates should be driven, demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and have a passion for continuous development and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing data reviews to ensure data reliability across core systems and processes.
- Active involvement in projects to streamline, automate and expand the data collection and dissemination processes utilized across BMR.
- Fulfill information requests supporting investment and client teams.
- Identify, escalate, and deliver recommendations on best practices.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of BlackRock’s suite of applications, including Quasar and Aladdin.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree is required
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding analytical and organizational skills
- Experience in online and database searching
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- SQL expertise preferred, but not required

For Seattle only the salary range for this position is $61,500 - $80,000.0. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
