Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the accounting and operations for one of Oaktree’s business development companies (BDCs) within its Global Private Debt Strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
- Resolving cash reconciliation items;
- Reviewing daily transaction postings;
- Recording of monthly closing accruals;
- Calculating management and incentive fees;
- Reviewing and reconciling capital activities and statements maintained by the transfer agent:
- Preparation of monthly fund reporting and performance metrics;
- Coordinating with independent auditors, custodians, and transfer agents;
- Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting for leverage facilities;
- Reviewing quarterly and annual 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings;
- Participate in projects and continuous process improvements for key deliverables; and
- Performing other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant fund accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor, accounting systems and Markit WSO (notice portal) is a plus.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
Base Salary Range
$95,000 - $145,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
