Job Summary
This professional will be an integral member of Investure’s Accounting and Treasury team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will perform various investment/trade operations and cash management responsibilities related to Investure Funds and Investure Client portfolios. Title will be commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Cultural fit, humility, and willingness to learn are imperative. The position is based in-office with a hybrid option available for remote on certain days of the week.

Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, Investure was founded in 2003 to serve as the outsourced investment office to a select number of non-profit endowments and private foundations. Essential Functions
Responsible for leading and supporting the Accounting and Treasury Team with various responsibilities including but not limited to the below:
- Cash and Liquidity Management
- Manage day-to-day liquidity of Investure Funds and Client portfolios within parameters set by the Investment Team; ensure that sufficient cash balances are available to meet requirements to settle trades and client spending needs
- Oversee and review the input daily transactions and work closely with the Accounting and Treasury and other Investure teams as well as external third parties to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
- Reconcile daily cash balances with custodians, fund administrators, counterparties, and other third-party sources of data
- Own and maintain internal cash management and reconciliation tools and reports
- Consistently meet multiple daily deadlines to publish various internal position and cash reports; work cooperatively with counterparties, custodian and external parties to resolve outstanding operational issues with transactions prior to settlement date
- Ensure the cash controls of the organization are adhered to consistently. This includes but is not limited to the following: i) verifying and maintaining changes in wiring instructions and SSIs, ii) maintaining control documentation for updates or enhancements that may occur from time to time
- Investment Operations
- Prepare, submit, manage, and ensure accuracy of wire transactions through Investure’s external bank wiring application
- Assist with the execution of transactions by preparing appropriate transaction documents, letters of authorization, and support documentation; ensure documents are distributed to appropriate parties and properly saved in the document management tool
- Support the Accounting and Treasury and Portfolio Management teams and clients with cash projections and other cash reporting
- Lead trading operations for certain direct equity or fixed income trading

- Candidate with appropriate experience may contribute to and assist the CFO with assigned duties related to operational due diligence on external investment managers
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through identification and implementation of new processes, procedures, or technology tools

Education, Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in a business environment, including financial markets, asset management, or investment fund exposure
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or math preferred
- Knowledge of alternative investments and/or financial markets
- Proficient using standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Proficient inputting and extracting information from required systems and databases
- Exceptionally detail oriented with ability to succeed in a highly deadline driven environment
- Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse and dynamic team
- Process-oriented with ability to identify and thoughtfully improve inefficient or outdated processes
