Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Learning and Development (L+D) professional with experience in developing and delivering professional and leadership curriculum, as well as supporting strategic learning and development needs in a fast paced, complex environment. This role reports into the Global Head of Learning and Development with close ties to the local Human Resources team. The successful candidate will partner with a broad range of colleagues globally, including HR generalists, L+D and HR team members, leaders, business, and technical experts, as well as employees, to help build and deliver initiatives that will help enhance our performance and support the development of our talent.
Within Susquehanna, the L+D team’s purpose is to provide value-added experiences that help to drive performance, grow and retain talent, and enhance engagement. We do this by providing learning and development solutions that develop employees and managers.
In This Role, You Will
- Design, develop, and implement training programs that align with business goals and tailor content to specific client needs, including eLearning solutions.
- Facilitate instructor-led workshops and learning events on various topics, such as management skills, professional skills, team building, mentoring, graduate and intern programming, business acumen, and cultural orientation.
- Consult and collaborate with HR and leaders in the firm on their learning, development, and talent priorities to develop custom solutions to their immediate business needs.
- Partner closely with global L+D team to identify global solutions that can be used to support local needs and to ensure alignment of direction.
- Lead and execute on a variety of learning and development projects.
- Provide targeted coaching using common assessment tools for leaders and employees to help them reach their potential and maximize their performance and impact.
- Support the change process for leaders and teams, both from a personal and organizational perspective.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in a Learning and Development role, with at least 4 years delivering training programs to a management audience.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong meeting and training facilitation skills.
- Change management experience.
- eLearning design and development experience.
- Coaching certification highly preferred.
- Strong consultative and partnering skills including excellent listening and questioning skills.
- A growth mindset and the ability to adapt to the needs of the firm.
- Proven ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to build scalable, high impact, mission- driven training programs.
- Self-driven and motivated individual comfortable to take initiative and execute high quality work product.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation.
