About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Mid-Corporate Portfolio Manager to join our team and support a portfolio of complex Mid-Corporate sized relationships.
In This Role, You Will
- Manage a portfolio of primarily syndicated cash flow credit relationships within the Commercial Banking Mid Corporate segment.
- Lead deal teams comprised of junior portfolio managers to produce all credit analysis and approval documentation including in-depth diligence on company historical and projected performance, industry and economic trends and key risks.
- Responsible for leading all aspects of the credit underwriting process, including, structuring, negotiating and execution of the most complex transactions with little to no supervision, including but not limited to acquisition financing, bridge underwriting, capital markets transactions, refinancings, incremental capital requests and amendments.
- Manage all aspects of the credit approval process for ancillary banking products such as treasury management products, letters of credit, derivative hedging and other non-credit related products.
- Will also manage the credit quality of assigned portfolio of loans on an ongoing basis including the production of periodic credit assessments and annual reviews.
- In partnership with Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager(s), directly leads the credit approval process including presenting to Independent Risk Management, applicable credit committees and Senior Management.
- Manages and promotes the maintenance of a portfolio that adheres to all applicable credit policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Responsibilities will also include training, supervision and mentoring of credit analysts and junior portfolio managers.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management and complex credit executions related to acquisition financing and bridge underwriting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements for leveraged transactions
- Strong knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices
- Strong knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets
- Strong credit analysis skills of leveraged credits management
- Experience originating, structuring, and executing bank lending transactions, other credit related products, for critical or complex clients
- Advanced communication, coordination and leadership skills, including the ability to synthesize significant amounts of company, transaction and industry information into a well-supported credit thesis and recommendation.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
