We’re looking for a Product Manager to:
- Serve as a key member of the Investment Review Committee
- Investment Review Committee reviews all critical research and assures UBS quality standards are met, views are clearly articulated, and there is sound basis for changes being made
- Work with Lead Analysts and Associates across all sectors to improve research quality and help co-ordinate interactions within global research and other parts of the firm
- Assist analysts during the launch process and connect analysts to the various platforms within the firm
- Promote and encourage commercial and differentiated research views, including evidence-based research, early discussion of key themes and issues
- Ascertain data quality, consistency, and appropriateness
- Share ideas and best practices across the Research Department
- Work with analysts, research management, and operations teams to maintain up-to-date views and mitigate potential sources of risk to the bank

Your team
You’ll be working in the US Equity Research Product Management team in New York. The product management team performs a crucial role within Research in the creation and refinement of external-focused research and shares responsibility with the analyst teams for ensuring the quality, commerciality, consistency and independence of UBS's published research views. It monitors and upholds high standards across the Research platform around data quality, accuracy of models and ensuring public views, forecasts and investment recommendations are updated and refreshed in a timely and commercial manner. The team also focuses on promoting and protecting the independence of analysts' views and their published material.
The role offers the opportunity to work in the Equity Research department at a global Investment Bank with some of the highest ranked analysts in the industry, providing exposure to market-leading research across multiple industries and regions.

Your expertise
- Prior research experience with ideally 3-5+ years of experience
- Strong financial statement analysis ability, MBA or CFA preferred
- Adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
- Inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
