Responsibilities
The Analyst will support Oaktree’s comp operations team in administering and maintaining the company's global compensation operations and data with a focus on equity, long-term incentives, and carried interest programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the ongoing operations and maintenance of the equity, long-term incentive (LTI), and carried interest programs and databases, including inputting and reconciling data, maintaining team calendars and checklists, and coordinating and testing system upgrades;
- Ensuring equity, LTI, and carried interest awards are administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the legal agreements and comply with country-specific provisions and internal processes and procedures;
- Preparing statements, communications, and control logs to notify plan participants of new awards and upcoming distributions;
- Administering employee loans including coordinating issuance of promissory notes and interest billing, inputting transactions in the loan management software, and leading quarterly loan balance sign offs;
- Coordinating work performed by offshore team and external vendors and ensuring work is completed accurately before supervisor reviews;
- Preparing compensation-related calculations and coordinating timely payments with Treasury and Payroll;
- Responding to compensation-related inquiries and coordinating the dissemination of information to and from various groups internally and externally;
- Preparing reports for investors and key stakeholders and providing accurate and timely data for quarterly financials and public filings;
- Assisting in initiatives and projects by preparing presentations, reports and analysis;
- Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality processing and quick resolution to issues;
- Proactively seeking and suggesting improvements to streamline current workstreams and automate manual reporting;
- Providing back-up support to payroll team as needed; and
- Performing other tasks and projects as necessary.
Qualifications
- 0- 4 years of analytical experience within a professional firm; compensation experience preferred;
- Strong mathematical skills;
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks; and
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Base Salary Range:
$60,000- $85,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
