This role is in our Customer Communications Division. At BRCC, we transform how organizations communicate with their customer by building an optimal, integrated digital and print experience. In this role, you are responsible for testing, diagnosing, and performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the manufacturing/production process or in facilities equipment and ensuring all production equipment is kept in top condition in order to guarantee maximum availability and reliability.
Work Mode: Broadridge classifies its jobs in three work modes: On-site, Hybrid, and Off-site. This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a physical Broadridge location where work will be performed 100% of the time.
Responsibilities:
Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday
Business needs may require additional scheduled workdays
Monitors the hourly throughout of the Inserting/Finishing machines ensuring that they are running at optimum capacity and verifies that all jobs are completed according to predetermined schedules
Supports production operations with all equipment related issues
Maintains and services, as required, Insertion/Finishing statement production equipment and ensures that a sufficient inventory exists of spare parts and inventory controls are followed. Complete all records tracking preventive maintenance, including lube logs and departmental procedures.
Assists in developing a revolving maintenance schedule for all Insertion/Finishing related equipment and ensure that maintenance occurs according to scheduled deadlines
May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned
Qualifications:
High School or equivalent
Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Ability to take direction and to work effectively under time constraints is necessary.
Ability to stand while working though-out the duration of assigned shift.
Ability to lift, carry and move 25+lbs. throughout the duration of assigned shift.
A proven proficiency in the operation, repair and maintenance of insertion/finishing equipment
Experience/understanding in spare parts/repair parts control, parts ordering, budget and documentation
Experience/Understanding for documentation, scheduling and performing Preventive Maintenance of Insertion/Finishing equipment
Skills:
Proficient with all hand tools and basic mechanical repairs
Basic understanding of electrical circuits both AC and DC
Functional/technical skills to include basic Windows PC hardware and software
Attention to detail
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to take direction and to work under pressure due to time constraints as necessary
Ability to stand and work throughout duration of assigned shift
Ability to lift, carry and move 25+ lbs throughout duration of assigned shift

Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience, plus a shift differential for Overnights
Annual Bonus: You will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus of up to $1,250.00
