Compensation Range
Hourly: $22.60 - $26.70 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job
The main purpose of this role is to perform testing assessments to ensure Commerce Trust (“CT”) compliance with trust and fiduciary laws and regulations and resides within the 1st line of defense. The Risk Monitoring Analyst – Trust will partner with CBI Risk Management team members and leadership to understand and assess CT policies, procedures, and controls, complete testing assessments, and assist with the preparation of reports that summarize the findings of completed testing assessments.
Essential Functions
- Analyze and evaluate controls, processes, and procedures of departments of CT under applicable laws, regulations, and CT or bank policy
- Prepare workpapers that adequately support test work performed and conclusions reached
- Assist with preparation and updating of test plans as necessary
- Assist with the preparation of clear and concise risk management testing reports
- Assist with providing recommendations to management for mitigation of risk
- Monitor progress of corrective actions implemented to address compliance violations or deficiencies noted in testing and/or regulatory examinations
- Perform duties in a manner to meet target completion goals, and other department performance metrics set by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required
- Basic knowledge of Trust regulations
- Ability to understand processes and data flows
- Critical analysis skills sufficient to analyze and communicate complex legal/regulatory concepts
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn regulatory review systems and databases

- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 1+ years of banking experience and/or experience as a risk officer, risk analyst, risk auditor, quality control specialist, personal trust administrator, trust operations or other similar role in the financial services industry, or equivalent technical knowledge preferred.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $22.60 to $26.70 per hour.
