Purpose and Job Summary:
NXT’s Treasury team is currently seeking an Analyst to join this growing team to provide analytical, operational, and reporting support to the Corporate Finance, Shared Services, and Investor Solutions groups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
CLO Management
- Main NXT contact with Rating Agencies, obtaining credit estimates for loans in CLO’s
- Work with the Direct Lending team to gather all necessary documents and responses to any questions
- Maintain CLO system of record with up-to-date information related to underlying credits in the CLO’s
- Perform pre-trade hypo compliance testing to ensure loans to be purchased or sold by a CLO meet all CLO documentation requirements and obtain required approvals for pre-trade compliance testing
- Coordinate communications with Independent Review Party; complete necessary forms and tracking system for Independent Review Party for purchases and sales to affiliates
- Reconcile monthly and quarterly reports with NXT Operations, Trustee and Auditor
Credit Facilities and Investor Solutions Programs
- Assist with the administration of various credit facilities
- Prepare borrowing bases for all applicable facilities
- Monitor financial covenants and reporting requirements
- Track interest and unused fees for credit facilities and tie out with banks on monthly basis
- Coordinate process of requesting private letters for applicable programs
- Produce Assignment Agreements and required information check lists to be provided for deal closings
- Manage cash for certain Investor Solutions programs as necessary
- Liaise with other internal departments including Finance & Accounting, Investor Solutions and Operations to complete capital calls for various programs
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 year Experience
- Knowledge of structured investment products including CLO’s
- ·Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills and some structured product system knowledge
- Sentry/WSO/CDO Suite/Everest experience
- Proven critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills - able to identify solutions enterprise risk and operational issues
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Collaborative work style with demonstrated ability to build strong and effective cross-functional team relationships
- Leadership, ability to influence and exercise good judgement - able to lead change and create alignment
- An undergraduate degree is required
