About The Team
The Global People Team is made up of people professionals with a diverse range of expertise, including talent, people relations, performance achievement, and systems and analytics, amongst others. In 2024 we are focused on building robust People systems and processes that enable us to develop and scale our culture to deliver our strategic priorities and support exceptional performance across all global teams. In 2025, we are focused on integrating two newly acquired companies to create one cohesive organization. We are a fast-paced, hypergrowth company and our team is always adapting to the evolving needs of the business. We are looking for leaders and professionals to join our team who are committed to learning and growing themselves while creatively delivering solutions that have a measurable impact on employee experience.
About The Role
As a People Business Partner, you will partner directly with leadership to build a scalable organization while positively impacting the day-to-day experiences of our people. This role will support managers across our non-Revenue teams with a focus on our Content team, many of whom recently joined the company as part of our Tegus acquisition in 2024.
This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the effectiveness of the organization by driving people retention programs and providing guidance to leaders across the company during a time of change, post-acquisition. In this role, you will cultivate strong performance and engagement, coach managers, enable clear team communication and feedback, and drive organizational plans that deliver on business goals.
What You’ll Do
- You will partner with new & developing managers in our Content organization on people management (e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, retention strategies, succession planning), providing training, guidance, and support
- You will guide managers and team members through a period of change as teams integrate into AlphaSense, helping answer questions and drive solutions to issues and concerns
- You will support managers through core People processes, such as annual compensation reviews, growth reviews, and our ongoing focus on managing performance
- You will provide coaching and guidance to Content managers in an ongoing effort to maintain a positive employee experience that offers challenging yet fulfilling work and a clear path for professional development
- You will work closely with other global People Team partners such as people systems, benefits, talent and compensation to work through employee inquiries and apply policy
- You will help managers address performance issues early and – where necessary – partner with more senior team members to navigate more complex employee relations matters that arise, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when needed
- You will assist in developing programs and processes supporting the learning, career growth, and mobility aspirations of employees – including partnering with leaders to create department-specific career paths
- You will work with the global People Team to analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies, recommending improvements and solutions where necessary
- You will provide HR policy recommendations, guidance, and interpretation
- You will drive diversity practices to foster an inclusive, supportive environment
- Because what you do profoundly impacts the day-to-day working lives of people at AlphaSense, you will play a critical role both in shaping our culture and in influencing how people experience what it’s like to work here– whether they feel valued, trusted, heard, and cared about
