What is the position? We are looking for an Analyst to join the Structured Finance team within our Private Capital Markets group.

Group Description: The Private Capital Markets & Debt Advisory (PCM) team is a leader in advising corporate and financial sponsor clients on capital structure solutions across credit and equity products for complex financing execution assignments. Evercore’s PCM team advises on primary debt and structured equity financings for clients to support a variety of transactions including, but not limited to, acquisitions, growth capital, dividend recapitalizations and stressed situations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead full deal process and execution for financing mandates, including financial analysis, credit and capital structure analysis, structuring, marketing materials, outreach, due diligence, and legal document negotiations
- Develop fundamental understanding of credit and equity products including first-lien debt, second-lien debt, unitranche facilities, asset-based or cash-flow based facilities, mezzanine debt, hybrid capital, and structured equity
- Develop market views across private equity, private credit and syndicated leveraged finance markets
- Closely coordinate with industry bankers as well as other product functions at Evercore including Restructuring and ECM
Specific Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience as an Analyst at a leading bank or buyside institution (new grads need to have relevant internship experience)
- Relevant experience in structured finance is preferred
- Strong preference for experience in Esoteric ABS, but not required
- Comprehensive experience and ability to understand and evaluate credit exposure, including appreciation for relative value and investor perspective
- High level of intellectual curiosity and ability to evaluate and act on complex situations
- Outstanding analytical, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Education: B.S. or B.A.

Expected Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
