Lazard Asset Management (LAM) Technology is looking for a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of the asset management industry. As a valued member of our Strategic Data Repository team, you will interface with the global business groups to develop, refine and deliver features and solutions for a data repository that masters Product, Account and Client data. We’re looking for a highly motivated, organized and experienced Analyst who takes pride in their work, and develops clear, complete and properly documented requirements in an iterative and collaborative process with our team.
We’ll trust you to:
- Work with business Product Owners to document, develop and refine business requirements
- Provide detailed documentation on attributes for each data repository
- Ensure that Information Security guidelines are maintained across the entire repository
- Work with business users to determine and document global data governance rules
- Assist the business and technology teams with implementing and maintaining governance standards and processes
- Lend your expertise during solutioning discussions with Technical Leads and Product Owner
- Document and diagram platform process and data flows
- Enforce data governance and data stewardship policies while interfacing with global business users
- Provide Use Case analysis
You’ll need to have:
- 5 or more years of experience in a Business Analyst and product interfacing role
- 2 or more years of experience working with financial data (Asset Management background strongly preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience developing functional and technical requirements for Data Governance projects
- Solid understanding of data governance and stewardship concepts
- Experience supporting implementation of Data Governance Architecture, preform data quality and analysis assessments, work on Master Data Management programs, and support data privacy and security governance processes
- Ability to implement processes, effect re-engineering, handle change management, handle continuous process improvement, and perform root cause analysis
- End to end data governance analysis and management skills
- Ability to interface effectively with global business units in developing, documenting and reviewing requirements.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately 150,000 - 190,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
