The Global Head of Client Reporting will Lead the operational function for client reporting and factsheets in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The Global Head of Client Reporting will play a critical role in developing and executing the strategy for the evolution of capabilities, services, processes, and technology supporting the delivery of client reports, factsheets, data feeds, and other information supporting global clients, consultants, and intermediaries. The role and team will produce, deliver, and provide oversight for reports, data, and information for a range of client types including Institutional Asset Management, Sustainable Investing, ETFs, and Mutual Funds. The Global Head of Client Reporting must demonstrate deep client reporting/data delivery expertise, effective communication, high quality client service track record, and problem solving & decision-making skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategy & Vision: set the strategic direction for the Global Client Reporting Team across regions, client segments, product types, data domains, and functional competencies.
- Global Team Leadership & Operational Management: provide oversight to all aspects of the Global Reporting Operating Model including onboarding, reporting standards, ad hoc/custom reporting, monitoring/metrics/management reporting, stakeholder engagement, audit requests, service delivery partnerships, client/consultant interactions, and outsourcing oversight.
- Define & Manage Key Performance Indicators: set key results and metrics globally and track progress. Drive improvements in quality, timeliness and accuracy of reports – both through tactical and strategic actions. Leverage Net Promoter Score results and other methods to gain measurable and actionable feedback.
- Effective Risk Management: evaluate and improve risk profile for the function by developing the roadmap for operational resilience and business continuity and conducting proactive evaluation of controls and operational effectiveness.
- Lead Continuous Development of Team Capabilities: drive improvement to the capabilities of the Client Reporting Team – product/data domain expertise, technical skills, communication skills, business & data analysis.
- Reporting Tool Transformation & Enhancements: drive strategy for the evolution of all client reporting including performance and attribution, accounting, holdings, consultant data delivery, Sustainability, and other reporting. Provide subject matter expertise contributing to business requirements, analysis documents, data/process flow diagrams, and other key artifacts for ongoing client reporting and data delivery enhancements. Become a subject matter expert on all Client Reporting Tools, related applications, and other State Street & SSGA upstream applications for performance, accounting, holdings.
- Lead Collaboration & Engagement Model: lead collaboration and engagement between the Client Reporting business teams and client facing teams, investment teams, data partners, technical teams, legal/compliance, and vendors throughout monthly operations work flow and project lifecycles. Communicate status with stakeholders, business partners and team.
- The position sits with the SSGA COO organization and will be a direct report to the Global Head of Information Publishing Solutions & Services.

Qualifications
- 15+ years working experience in the Investment Industry with 10+ years relevant client reporting experience.
- Deep understanding of Institutional Asset Management, Mutual Funds, and ETFs across a range of data domains including performance, holdings, accounting, pricing, and analytics.
- Proven track record of successfully owning and delivering processes and projects through all aspects of data operations.
- Team and individual professional management skills and experience including goal setting, performance reviews, recruiting, professional development, and other managerial activities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret client requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- BS/BA or equivalent required.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage expectations in a fast paced, complex environment

Salary Range
$160,000 - $250,000 Annual
