Responsibilities:
- Support the Fixed Income/Credit team in all aspects of managing the firm’s fixed income portfolio including, open-end, and closed-end funds focused on investment grade and non-investment grade investments.
- Conduct due diligence of current and prospective investment managers.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of models and databases.
- Prepare and monitor data and analytics for the portfolios.
- Assist with the development of quantitative and qualitative rationale and support for the communication of investment ideas to senior investment and client focused teams.
- Prepare written reports and presentation materials for investment team and committee recommendations.
- Create, maintain and update all investors materials as necessary done in conjunction with the graphics group and compliance teams.
- Complete analytical projects on specific topics.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s degree, CFA a plus.
- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and valuation skills
- Computer proficiency (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through capabilities and commitment to excellence in work product
- Must have excellent people, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
