Job Overview
The Capital Markets (Business Development) Analyst is responsible for supporting the business development, investor relations, and consultant relations efforts of the CenterSquare team spanning the firm’s private equity real estate, private debt real estate, and listed real estate strategies. The position requires a highly motivated professional to contribute in a team atmosphere, working to provide support and partnership to relationship managers in their effort to expand, maintain, and develop new opportunities. The position will be based in CenterSquare’s headquarters office located in Conshohocken, PA.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong partnership with senior capital raisers to drive capital raising across assigned territories
- Conduct research to help develop action plans across product offerings
- Capture and maintain Salesforce data, including adding new accounts, contacts, and recent real estate investment activity. This requires attention to detail to maintain data of the highest quality
- Assist with outreach campaigns to clients, prospects and consultants
- Participate in client, prospect, and consultant meetings/calls
- Gather and provide relevant intelligence to help prepare the firm’s participants prior to each meeting
- In collaboration with Marketing team, help to prepare presentation materials for meetings/calls
- Assist with coordination of client portfolio reviews, due diligence requests and ad hoc requests
- Perform competitor analysis to assess outside managers, strategies, and competitive advantages
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in real estate or finance-related field required
- Approximately 1-3 years of experience in financial services firm; knowledge of investment management, private equity and investor relations a plus
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Dynamic, self-motivated and collaborative
- Willingness and curiosity to learn and develop new skills and competencies
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong PowerPoint skills preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system
- Ability to prioritize and execute effectively
- Series 7 and 63 licensing is required though can be attained in the first 6 months in the position
