Position Summary
The Group Director, Global Head of Sales, Risk Intelligence is a critical senior leadership role that reports to the Group Head of Sales and Account Management (SAM) with a dotted line to the Group Head, RI and sits on both leadership teams. The role manages regional teams and is responsible for driving growth of gross sales related to the global D&A ecosystem. This role can be located in either London or New York.
The Group Director will partner closely with regional leaders, the customer strategy team and the broader SAM and RI leadership teams to develop and deliver or exceed the sales expectations. This role will also lead active engagement with RI’s clients globally to drive growth.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and lead on execution of the RI sales plan in collaboration with key internal and external business stakeholders to drive growth
- Develop new client relationships and commercial opportunities
- Ensure sales specialist resources are aligned and focused on key areas of opportunity and addressable market
- Partner with customer strategy teams to identify opportunities for new business growth and ensure focused execution of product aligned and customer segment sales strategies
- Build a culture within global RI sales specialist teams that systematically captures and delivers Voice of Customer (VoC) to Product Management to ensure capital allocation and associated product roadmaps align to strategic customer requirements
- Ensure that RI sales specialist teams deliver a ONE LSEG message in all customer engagements and identify opportunities for cross sell/solution selling
- Develop the RI sales specialist leadership team and help manage regional teams to facilitate a high level of performance and engagement
- Represent ONE SAM view at the RI Leadership Table and align with Product Managers on Product roadmaps, capex and investment decisions
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Ability to influence and manage key senior leaders across a matrix management
- Proven track record of delivering high performance and exceeding sales targets
- 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Strategic mindset alongside the ability to lead and drive on planning and execution
- Client-centric with strong commercial acumen and ability to manage consultative engagements to solve client problems and drive benchmark adoption, wins & mandates
- Deep subject matter expertise in the RI and financial product domain with the ability to work across client segments and geographies
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Track record of leading high-performance teams and working with senior colleagues and stakeholders in a cross functional, global environment to deliver results
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $199,100 - $369,900.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
