Responsibilities
About the role:
Development Team Lead – Private Equity: The PE IT team supports Citco’s fast growing Private Equity (PE) Fund Administration business. The data and applications environment supports our global PE business teams and clients with approximately $400 billion under administration. The Development Team Lead will manage the local PE IT team as well as working closely with our business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to understand business- related challenges, design process and technical solutions, and, ultimately, solve problems to address business-motivated changes. It's time to add someone to our team who can take the design, development and support of our PE applications to the next level.
Qualifications
About you:
To be successful, the individual must have a strong track record of team and people management as well as possessing excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Private Equity and FIS Investran in particular is also desirable.
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of team and people management, covering both co-located and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience leading development and business support teams
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, OOD, DDD, BDD, SOA and Micro-Services
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and best practices and experience with project management tools such as Jira
- Knowledge of and experience with SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, SCRUM and KANBAN
- Experience working in the cloud, either AWS or Azure
- Familiar with Microsoft development and database technologies such as C#, .NET, SQLServer, SSIS, SSRS
- Working knowledge of accounting and reporting principles in the Private Equity area
- Knowledge of FIS Investran, its Data Model, Accounting module, Reporting Hierarchies, Transaction Types, Batch Templates, Active Templates, Allocation Rules, Data Import Utility, and Report Wizard
- Outstanding and demonstrable troubleshooting skills
- Experience improving performance and reliability of production systems
- Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with teams in other locations, across different time zones
- Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent

- Experience developing and supporting hybrid cloud environments (on-prem, AWS, Azure)
- Experience of API development and Micro-Service architectures
- Experience with workflow-based applications
- Adaptive to change and feedback from team members
- Working with other teams to solve complex problems

Salary range: USD 155,00 - 205,000
