- Equity Derivatives Flow Sales, Associate
What is the opportunity?
- Coverage of liquid products to US-based institutional clients
- Accountable to convert existing client base and bring new mature client relationships
- Expand ability of desk to cover more clients and expand market share
- Team up with Cash Sales to monetize the client franchise further
- What will you do?
- Coverage will be US-based institutional clients
- Expands ability of desk to cover more clients
- Cover clients for listed and OTC options, light exotics, delta 1 swaps
- Expect 100% of time to be focused on this effort
- Contribute to content generation of the business
- Engage with and liaise with key partners of Global Equities, Commodities, Rates, FX, Macro, Credit
- Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
- Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis.
- Book trades and suggest initiatives for automation and improvement
- What do you need to succeed?
- Job requires experience in the financial markets and equity business. Knowledge of options pricing is required
- Equity derivatives sales and trading requires a level of technical skills to understand first and second order effects of stock prices upon options. The candidate’s background has leveraged these skills into an already successful career in equity derivatives sales.
- Order management systems and client coverage booking
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Series 7, 57 and 63

- The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $175,000-$225,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
