This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ or Tampa, FL. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis 2 days per week.

What You Will Do
We are seeking a highly qualified Digital Engineering Lead to our passionate team within PGIM, the Global Investment Management division of Prudential Financial. The ideal candidate will in develop and implement solutions that address business challenges specifically within medium to large firms in the financial services industry. This role will focus on building and delivering innovative digital experiences and solutions for our clients and client facing departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Client Service. They will also focus on improving internal employee productivity through the digitization of manual processes.
The Digital Engineering Lead will demonstrate their extensive full-stack development expertise, particularly in front-end technologies, to create user-centric applications. They will also be proficient in leading data flows within application architecture, thrive within a software development lifecycle (SDLC), and work within agile frameworks. Furthermore, experience with key technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience Cloud products will be pivotal to the success of this role.

What You Can Expect
- Architect and design technical solutions that deliver exceptional digital experiences for clients and enhance internal employee productivity, such as web portals, web applications, and mobile apps
- Serve as a hands-on developer, translating business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.
- Lead a software development team, including developers and QA personnel, within an agile development environment.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and timely delivery of projects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and client service, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Apply front-end technologies (e.g., AngularJS, React) to build intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
- Implement and use Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power Apps, in solution delivery.
- Manage data and application flows effectively, optimizing application architecture for performance and scalability.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and efficiency by leveraging automation to streamline workflows and enhance overall productivity.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members, fostering professional development and knowledge-sharing.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in software advancement-and solution implementation, particularly within the financial services industry.
- Extensive experience as a full-stack developer with a successful emphasis on front-end technologies, including popular web-based front-end frameworks, such as AngularJS, React, and others.
- Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development and the Adobe Experience Cloud suite, including Experience Manager, Experience Platform, and Analytics.
- Solid understanding of data architecture and data flows within application development.
- Profound knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborative skills, with the ability to successfully communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that drive business success.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $190,000 to $235,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
