Axioma (a SimCorp company) is currently seeking a technical Sales Professional to join our growing Wealth sales team, bringing Axioma’s award winning analytics solutions and services to new and existing wealth clients. The position will be based in San Francisco, or NY and will require travel to client and prospect locations. It's required for potential hires to have shown strategic development of pipeline projects, able to do their own pre-sales and effective relationship management through direct, practical involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Holistic understanding of the wealth management industry and a passion for partnering with clients to achieve better investment outcomes
- Oversee entire sales process, including Pre-Sales, negotiating and closing sales contracts
- Ensure efficient sales growth to meet or exceed annual targets
- Target and acquire new accounts through prospecting and networking
- Identify new sales opportunities and initiate and manage sales dialog with these contacts
- Successfully articulate Axioma and SimCorp’s value proposition to clients
- Provide subject-matter expertise on optimization, risk models, APIs, and portfolio analytics
- Solve customers’ challenges by applying a combination of technology, business, interpersonal and professional experience
- Gather product feedback from customers and relay those needs to Product Management
- Regularly report to management on performance vs. sales goals
Qualifications
- Experience working with the wealth management industry with RIAs, Investment Advisors, Tax Overlay, Direct Indexing and Model portfolios
- Experience with Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Class investing highly desirable
- Would be comfortable applying quantitative methods for analysis and decision-making purposes
- Possess effective listening skills, expert written and oral communication skills, and genuine enthusiasm for assisting the client/prospect to solve their business problems
- Balance the need to build long-term business relationships with clients, but also secure revenues for the Company in the short term
- MBA, CFA, FRM or other advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, operations research or finance highly beneficial
- Travel: 25%-40%

For San Francisco and New York City only: The annual salary range for this position is $178,000 – 213,000 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
