The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) is seeking an Investment Policy Officer to join the Investment/Management. Nearly two-thirds of STRS Ohio’s investment assets are managed internally by more than 100 Investment Department professionals.

8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, with up to two days per week remote work opportunities.
General Summary:
Under the direction of the Senior Officer, Investment Policies, ensure the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) Investment Department is in conformity with all relevant rules, policies and legislation.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Monitor and facilitate understanding of the Investment Department’s policies, guidelines and regulations on continuous basis, subject but not limited to: Staff Guidelines, Statement of Investment Objectives ad Policy (SIOP), Ohio Retirement Study Council (ORSC) requirements, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) Filings and Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C) legislation.
Maintain Investment Department policies and implement review procedures.
Coordinate with STRS Ohio legal and compliance teams ensuring investment activities, processes and guidelines adhere to applicable laws, policies and regulations.
Complete and disseminate required regulatory disclosures, registrations, affirmations and representations.

Summary of Qualifications:
Master's degree with an emphasis in business administration, finance, or a quantitatively oriented field preferred.
Seven to ten years of demonstrated experience in the field of business, finance, investment or accounting required.
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder strongly preferred.
Basic knowledge of compliance concepts, practices and procedures and experience in an investment-related field preferred.
