- establish and maintain strong client and partnership relationships through regular close contact and face-to
- face meetings with our target customer base
- drive the whole sales cycle, including in person and remote demos of the data and tools in a pre-sales capacity, negotiating, and closing opportunities
- build a deep, working knowledge of data sets, FAQ process and help to curate new data sets
- demonstrate clear involvement in marketing strategy, content authoring and event planning including hosting internal education sessions
- follow regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits and guidelines

- New York: the salary range for this role is $205000 to $235000

Your team
You’ll be working in the Data Sales team in New York responsible for our selling and curating UBS data sets. We are a business designed to surface and commercialize UBS data in a sustainable, centralized and compliant way.
Although Data is your primary focus, you will develop your knowledge to deliver the broader systematic advisory sale building strong familiarity with our Alpha Capture, Quant Research and applicable fundamental research products.
Your expertise
You have:
- a university degree in numerate subject, finance or economics
- at least 5+ years of experience in financial market data Sales
- working knowledge of Financial Markets (essential) and a good understanding of Quantitative Investment Management
- the skills to win/grow business within existing relationships
- a solid understanding of the end-to-end technology lifecycle, with a working knowledge of AI and ML
- a solution-oriented, motivated and self-challenging personality
- quantitative knowledge and/or familiarity
You are:
- an excellent communicator, with persuasive presentation skills
- incredibly organized, with an innate sense of how to prioritize (you make lists and get things checked off)
- passionate about the client experience, with strong interpersonal skills (you have the human touch)
- keenly interested in data analytics, business intelligence and management information
