What You’ll Do
We are seeking a successful Accountant who is a multi-tasker at heart, with strong communication shills and a problem-solving mindset that thrives in an evolving organization. Our ideal candidate is coachable, has a willingness to learn, and consistently performs at a high level under variable workloads.
- Provide heartfelt support and communication to partners, administration, and all clients.
- Work with partners and team members to help deliver upon client requests.
- Maintain electronic client files.
- Schedule client meetings and prepare reports for those meetings.
- Prepare and process paperwork for client transactions - including opening accounts, address changes, transferring assets, deposits, withdrawals, closing accounts and communicating the status of transactions to clients and advisors.
- Complete and update financial plans for clients. Including gathering all information to complete financial plan and present the financial plan to clients.
- Provide ongoing client account maintenance (e.g. all money requests, checks, wires, ACHs, RMDs, regular periodic transfers, ongoing special client requests).
- Respond to client and advisor requests in a timely manner.
- Manage client gifts and electronically send holiday and birthday cards.
- Notarize documents where applicable.
What You’ll Bring
The candidate should have strong professional verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to motivate self and others to deliver high quality output, possibly within tight timeframes.
- Attention to detail and managing workload
- Perseverance in problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt, pivot and learn.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Initiate projects and ask, “How can I help?”
- Ability to learn specialized software with support and guidance.
- Accept feedback, accountability and ownership
- 1+ years of experience in the Finance/Accounting industry
- CPA Required
