Position Summary
Guggenheim Investments is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Loan Services team. This individual will report to the Director of Loan Services and manage cross-team functions for both the Trade Operations and Data Integrity teams including but not limited to the management of loan security master setup and maintenance ad hoc and recurring data analysis coordination of direct and secondary loan settlements and borrowings restructure processing private rating/credit estimate coordination pricing reconciliation and monthly metrics.
The position requires close interaction with various parties across the firm including traders credit analysts and legal team members as well as external data vendors.
This role will involve working in a dynamic team environment and presents opportunities to utilize interpretation and problem-solving skills in support of the team’s Integrity objectives and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of bank debt and fixed income securities.

The position is located in the New York City office.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and manage the team of individuals responsible for ensuring that data accuracy and consistency is maintained across all systems and data sources as well as individuals responsible for post settlement/post-election transaction processing
- Manage quality control processes to ensure that all data is accurate and consistent between several systems and vendors
- Assist in the design or revision of processes and procedures to ensure that the operational infrastructure is able to scale to accommodate strategic growth targets
- Play an integral role in the loan amendment voting and documentation process and perform related analysis via monitoring of post-election votes and the processing of restructurings in all systems. Ensure communication to necessary internal and external parties
- Track, calculate and provide high yield and bank loan defaults/recovery analysis
- Ensure all operational processes meet standards established by internal and external auditors, including SOC1 procedures
- Collaborate with IT and Markit WSO to create reports that increase operational efficiency and address data point breaks between systems
- Research breaks and perform daily and monthly sign off of reconciliation items done by team
- Assist with data gathering and report preparation in support of ad hoc requests from traders, portfolio managers, fund accountants, and client service team members
- Collaborate across functions to ensure pricing data is updated timely and accurately
- Support time sensitive urgent requests/inquiries from the Front Office, Client Service Support team pertaining to transfers, new accounts and closing processes, etc
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Wall Street Office and Bloomberg is a plus
- Organized, detail oriented and extremely thorough with strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate with internal teams and external clients and service providers
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience in investment management or financial services environment
- At least 4-6 years of bank loan related experience is required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced and challenging environment
Salary Details
Annual base salary between $110,000 and $120,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week.
