Business Analyst – Oracle ORC Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Configuration
Overview:
Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the configuration and optimization of the Oracle ORC (Oracle Recruiting Cloud) Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, recruitment teams, and IT to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and enhancement of the ATS to meet organizational hiring goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global HR and recruiting stakeholders to understand and document complex business requirements for Oracle ORC configuration and customization.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations within Oracle ORC.
- Configure Oracle ORC to optimize workflows, job requisitions, candidate pipelines, and user experiences.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend system enhancements or process improvements to align with business needs.
- Partner with technical teams to test system configurations, integrations, and new functionality.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, process maps, and training materials.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with resolving issues identified during the testing phase. (includes writing test scripts, distributing to global testers, tracking completion and retesting, and providing UAT summaries to project stakeholders
- Conduct production checkout to ensure all requirements are met
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of the Oracle ORC ATS
- Partner with IT to ensure system related support tickets are completed in a timely manner
- Stay updated on Oracle ORC releases and updates, assessing their impact on current configurations and business processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience working with Oracle ORC, Oracle HCM Cloud, or similar Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and workflows, with the ability to translate business needs into system configurations.
- Experience in system configuration, implementation, or optimization of ATS or HCM systems.
- Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business requirements and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide end-user training.
- Familiarity with HRIS integrations and data flow between systems is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Oracle HCM Cloud or Oracle ORC is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ORC reporting and analytics.
- Knowledge of change management and project management methodologies.
