About This Role
We are seeking an experienced University Relations Recruiter to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with universities and colleges and external organizations to attract top talent for our organization. You will work closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources team to identify and recruit candidates for internships and entry-level positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement university recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Build and maintain relationships with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations
- Plan and attend campus recruitment events (in-person and virtual), career fairs, and networking events
- Develop new programming to strengthen BlackRock’s Employer brand with campus level talent
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide suitable candidates
- Work closely with internal teams to strengthen key strategic university relationships
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies
- Partner on workstreams and projects with global colleagues
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in university recruitment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of proven experience in university recruitment or a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups of people
- Displays excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (Oleeo and Workday preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Capable of traveling to events and working extended hours during peak recruiting season
