Job Description
Your Role
The Procurement Analyst and Supplier Diversity, Senior, will integrate with the Global Procurement department in the execution of sourcing strategies and support business unit requirements involving third party suppliers. This position will seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to P2P activities within the company’s shared service model. The Procurement Analyst and Supplier Diversity, Senior, will develop and report performance metrics, conducting spend analytics for sourcing initiatives to reduce costs, develop and implement supplier relationship management (SRM) initiatives.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Identifying supplier cost savings opportunities through spend analytics and support strategic sourcing initiatives
- Supporting activities to identify opportunities for sourcing and cost savings on business unit expenditures.
- Performing various systems tasks, including extracting data and creating management reports
- Coordinating efforts to maintain and report service level performance/savings metrics
- Coordinating effort for supplier communication campaigns
- Serving as ERP system focal point for functionality as relates to purchasing analytics function
- Working with internal stakeholders and P2P process owners to improve efficiencies and effectiveness
- Supporting Global Procurement team efforts to construct RFQ’s, RFI’s and RFP’s in support of strategic sourcing
- Supporting Global Procurement team in supplier proposal analysis and pricing models in support of negotiations
- Maintaining a high degree of technical proficiency in the procurement discipline and data mining tools
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Leading P2P related initiatives or projects related to procurement function as they may arise
- Developing, implementing and managing a Supplier Diversity program: creating procedures to promote supplier inclusion, engaging diverse suppliers, educating business partners, and partnering with external organizations to stay informed about best practices.
- Supporting diverse spend analytics growth, to include diverse spend tracking, reporting, and identifying actionable insights
The Experience You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement
- Financial modeling and forecasting
- Experience with Oracle reporting a plus
- Project management/CPM certification a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerBI, and ERP systems (Oracle Procurement experience a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and staff at all levels
