Tax professionals seeking a new opportunity may be interested in joining Federated Hermes’ corporate tax team. Federated Hermes’ Tax group is seeking an experienced tax professional to join its team in our Pittsburgh office. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with other tax professionals on U.S. and international tax returns and provisions. Hybrid work schedule (in-office / remote).
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting OR bachelor’s degree in business related field with a master’s degree in taxation required.
- Minimum of three years of professional tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax setting required
-Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word required
-Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time and perform effectively in a fast-paces deadline-drive environment
What you will do:
Prepare tax returns and tax provisions, associated with the Federated Hermes operating companies. This includes various tax calculations and research to complete this position’s duties.
Identify and analyze appropriate financial data and/or general ledger accounts and calculate required tax adjustments in assisting with tax provision preparation for Federated Hermes.
Work with international tax teams on gathering data for U.S. international tax calculations.
Assist with U.S. international tax calculations.
