Job Description:
Accountable for proactively marketing and sales of the investment services provided by Resolute in the New England Region covering all distribution channels (Northern Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, and greater Albany, NY).
Key Responsibilities
- Leads sales initiatives, identifies client needs and coordinates efforts to serve assigned territory
- Follows up on client contacts, calling on existing and potential clients
- Provides clients with investment performance updates as well as general client servicing
- Makes presentations to existing and prospective shareholder/clients
- Identifies assigned intermediaries, including independent broker-dealers, regional broker-dealers, RIAs and wire houses
- Leads initiatives with intermediaries in defined territory
- Strong sales skills and product knowledge
- Prepares presentations
- Conducts client meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in investment management, finance, business, or related field
- Five or more years of experience in investment management or related business
- In-depth understanding of the industry, financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management and client-service strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Strong planning, organization, analytical and technical skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and work independently to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to self-manage workload volumes to achieve or exceed goals and changing priorities in a team environment
- Significant travel (e.g., typically up to 50% of the time)
- NASD License Series 7 and 63 required
- CIMA preferred
