Job Description

In this newly created role, the Performance Management Lead will be responsible for helping to build upon a best-in-class Performance Management strategy, supporting an industry-leading approach to assessing and developing our employees.

Primary functions & responsibilities
In this newly created role, this individual will be responsible for implementing a high-quality, best-in-class approach to Performance Management. This individual will be expected to develop credibility and strong relationships with HR colleagues who support the Performance Management components (i.e. HRBPs, Reporting & Analytics, HRIS, etc.). They will need to operate strategically in assessing the impact of processes, implementing enhancements / making changes, and ensuring the connections to other HR initiatives as well as other Talent Development offerings (ex. Management Development). They will also need to roll their sleeves up to create content, manage the relevant technology platforms and project manage. Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the system design and functionality
Managing the project planning and execution for each stage of the performance management cycle and promotion process
Developing and facilitating training
Creating communications and other resources (refence guides, videos)
Creating and maintaining promotion criteria (enterprise-wide and business-specific)
Leading the related Change Management work
Analyzing the effectiveness of the various components and ensuring continuous improvement
Overseeing team member(s) supporting Performance Management
Taking on Talent Development projects as needed
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of relevant Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment and 7 years in Talent Development / Performance Management
Proven in-depth experience in:
Designing and implementing talent development / performance management strategies in complex and global environments
Hands-on Learning & Development content creation and delivery
Change management at the organization level
Project management of large-scale global initiatives with ambiguous parameters and diverse groups of stakeholders
Managing others
General Requirements:
Possess strong influencing, consulting, and relationship-building skills
Demonstrate passion and energy for all things related to Talent Development
Be a strong communicator with extensive facilitation experience
Be comfortable with owning and executing projects end-to-end
Demonstrate comfort in leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and talent priorities
Stay abreast of best practices in the industry and field of Talent Development / Performance Management
Be flexible (in terms of hours) to be able to coordinate with team members across various time zones

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$175,000-$200,000
