The Opportunity
The StudioML Product Lead is responsible for owning and driving the generative AI product roadmap in collaboration with our Generative AI partners. This role ensures the incorporation of brand guidelines for the company and our clients, adapts content to local market linguistics in over 40 markets, and prevents AI hallucinations and misrepresentations. The Product Leader will work closely with the Global Head of Marketing Technology in our Global Technology team to integrate demographic, behavioral and engagement signals from the content platforms and the entire marketing technology stack into the multi-tenant LLM for improved optimization. Additionally, this role will oversee the onboarding of new users, ensuring responsible and ethical AI use, and continuously work on developing new use cases based on business demands and the capabilities of the solution.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future:
- Product Roadmap Management: Develop and manage the StudioML generative AI product roadmap in collaboration with our vendor(s), ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This will include ensuring the UI/UX is intuitive and can be managed for different types of users, approvers, prompt libraries and workflows. Determine the appropriate business requirements, use cases and desired outcomes and plan and prioritize releases accordingly.
- Brand and Compliance Integration: Ensure all AI-generated content adheres to company and client brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and market-specific linguistic appropriateness.
- Content Quality Assurance: Work with the content and graphic design teams to build the appropriate models to address the associated content and digital strategy, bringing forth new ways of representing the products and services offered by MetLife. Implement measures to prevent AI hallucinations and misrepresentations, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of citations and references.
- Scalable Solution Implementation: Drive the implementation of scalable AI solutions that support rapid growth and adaptability across various markets. Draw on a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and product launches to ensure seamless deployment and integration of the StudioML generative AI product across diverse user bases.
- Performance Optimization: Work cross-functionally across marketing and marketing technology teams to identify content intelligence & performance signals from first party platforms and the marketing technology ecosystems, as well as second and third party sources, integrating these insights into our multi-tenant LLM for personalization and continuous improvement.
- User Onboarding and Training: Oversee the onboarding and enablement process for new internal and external users, ensuring responsible and ethical AI use aligned with corporate guidelines and providing necessary training and support.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI modeling and work with the vendor(s) to ensure continuous improvement and innovation of the StudioML AI solution.
- Use Case Development: Develop new use cases for the generative AI solution based on business demands and the current and future capabilities of the technology.
- Personalized Content Creation: Support the development of highly personalized creative content that can support a variety of test-and-learn agendas, while being performance measurable by ensuring our solution can deliver the variability either in the model or through prompts/UI.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, technology, and compliance, to ensure cohesive and effective implementation, maintenance, and ongoing development of the AI solution.
What You Need To Succeed (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in product management, focusing on automation, AI or machine learning products. A comprehensive understanding of different data modelling techniques and large language models is imperative.
- Proven experience in managing product roadmaps and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, using agile and waterfall management strategies.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and content localization for diverse markets.
- Experience with AI variable format content generation, including mitigating risks of hallucinations and misrepresentations.
- Product marketing skills, documenting use cases, training materials, and enablement support
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive performance optimization.
