Summary: Seeking motivated and experienced investment analyst to join special situations team focusing on legal asset opportunities in developed markets assisting with financial and operational due diligence, execution and monitoring of current portfolio and future origination.
Experience/Qualifications Needed
- Licensed CPA with public accounting experience preferred but not required
- Experience with litigation finance/legal assets preferred but not required
- Experience with private credit underwriting and modeling/scenario analysis
- Experience with financial due and operational due diligence for private transactions
- Experience with private credit monitoring including covenant tracking
- Experience with business management preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Credit underwriting for litigation finance transactions including loan modeling, borrower cash flow modeling and other financial and operational due diligence
- Liaise with other members of the Special Situations team and Gramercy Marketing/IR related to scenario analysis and other modeling needs for current and prospective investors
- Monitor litigation legal asset transactions ' covenant monitoring, borrower financial support, budget monitoring/optimization/etc.
- Organize and track due diligence and execution processes for transactions
- Work closely with other members of the team responsible for litigation underwriting to diligence and execute on opportunities.
