Job Description
The Investor Coverage team is responsible for new business development and managing existing institutional client relationships with, for example, pension funds, insurance companies and wealth managers. Antares is seeking to hire a professional to perform an integral role supporting our fundraising and investor engagement activities in Europe, based in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior European distribution professionals and transition into a European sales role in the future.
The role will partner closely with the global distribution, product management, investor relations, marketing, investment management and other functional groups. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of entrepreneurial drive, excellent written and verbal communication skills, quantitative skills and collaborative interpersonal approach. You will also have outstanding organsational skills, be adept at balancing multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines and demonstrate commitment to Antares’ cultural values and teamwork-based approach.
Responsibilities
Develop exceptional relationship and sales support to clients and prospects on behalf of the sales team, functioning as a key contact when the team is travelling, when urgent requests arise, etc
Maintain knowledge of Antares’ investment services and products
Cultivate excellent working relationships with other functional groups across the firm
Assist sales team with preparation and follow-up items related to client and prospect meetings
Respond to regular and ad hoc requests for information from investors
Work with the sales team to keep the firm’s CRM updated
Support sales team on RFPs, DDQs and any operational support required
Tailor standard information produced by the Investor Relations and Product Management teams to meet specific investor needs
About You
Relevant experience ideally with an alternatives manager, with knowledge of private credit, who is passionate about client service.
Passion for financial markets and knowledge of alternative investment products
Entrepreneurial drive while working within a constantly evolving environment
Highly developed organisational skills and ability to prioritise work according to business needs
Deep interpersonal skills and a highly collaborative, teamwork-based approach
