As an HR Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve coordinating resources, setting project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery within budget and scope.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven record in project management. Knowledge of the HR business is a bonus.

You will:
- Deliver accurate project / program level documentation (budget, risk and issues, resource, change, action etc.), including highlighting any variances, for all relevant internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed.
- Effectively communicates with internal and external partners, maintaining continuous and open lines of communications, managing client expectations, and ensuring all relevant parties are informed when change(s) occur.
- Develop and maintain project delivery plan in alignment with Enterprise Portfolio management guidelines.
- Track work plans and achievements using enterprise portfolio management tool.
- Forecasts project resources, materials and contracts costs within standard tools and secures and allocates necessary resources, including personnel, technology, and budget.
- Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements.
- Identifies project issues, causes, and leads to resolve them, reports and escalates project issues as needed.
- Implements specific project or team schedules, tasks, and estimates resource requirements for; develops and manages project budgets.
- Influences vendor and client relationships to ensure service expectations are developed and met. Integrates milestones for own project deliverables with related initiatives.
- Seeks opportunities to improve productivity, cost containment and improve project performance. Typically manages more complex business projects and/ or programs.
- Define the project governance and manage all aspects of a project life cycle to bring about the desired outcomes (includes Project initiation, Stakeholder management, Development, UAT, Test, Implementation, Change management, Production validation)
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years project management experience with experience in large projects and management of distributed project resource teams. Experience supporting the HR business is a plus.
- Proficient using JIRA Align, JIRA, SharePoint, and other software for project and task management.
- Process Improvement methodology experience preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, SAFe, etc.)
- An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- Ability to manage in a matrix environment.

Location:
Hybrid role - 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH - Preferred locations- Guardian home offices located in Bethlehem, PA, New York NY, Stamford CT, or Boston, MA
Travel to Guardian offices as determined by the People Leader.
Salary Range:
$84,320.00 - $138,522.50
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
