As a Senior Learning & Development Specialist, you will develop and execute initiatives and programs enhancing our learning culture, while incorporating our Success Factors and helping Guardian meet our purpose and priorities. You will be an innovative thought leader and will harness your expertise to co- develop and execute the learning experience roadmap at Guardian.
You will:
- Demonstrate knowledge in and experience with the application of adult learning theories, methods, and strategies using sound adult instructional design techniques.
- Identify, design, and deliver mixed-media content and flow for enterprise learning programs, leveraging the appropriate methodologies, technologies, and platforms to achieve an impact that resonates with adult learners. (i.e., New Leader programs, colleague courses, Transformational Leadership Program, and other leadership programs).
- Use and develop measures to quantify learning applications and leveraging these metrics to make informed business decisions and to enable strategic planning.
- Develop Learning strategies to embed learning in the flow of work, drive engagement and adoption and measure impact.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage resources to maximize efficiency, quality, and effectiveness while meeting deadlines.
- Organize, plan, and deliver results effectively through proficient change management and project management skills.
- Apply instructional design theories, standards, and best practices to produce effective learning and development solutions including high-quality usability and accessibility standards.
- Develop digital and mobile first training resources such as eLearning, skills-based practice, and performance support materials.
- Analyze course enrollments and completion rates and implement strategies to increase both and monitor for learner’s progress and utilization metrics to assess gaps and continuously improve.
- Remain up to date with emerging and future trends in learning across all relevant industries to develop best in class solutions.
- Partner and collaborate with team, HR, subject matter experts, vendors, business teams and other stakeholders to implement programs to ensure the development and retention of talent.
- Facilitate engagement: communicate and market programs to drive engagement and adoption.
- Assist with any in-person learning events when possible.
You have:
- (Preferred) Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, Business, Adult learning, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional work experience (corporate setting preferred) creating content, facilitating learning sessions (both in-person and virtual), and analyzing learning metrics.
- Strong technical skillset in Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Forms, PowerPoint) and other applications (Guardian Learning, Condeco, LinkedIn Learning, Workday, etc.).
- Knowledge of human centered design principles; innovation processes and instructional design experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in working effectively with internal and external personnel to achieve common goals.
- The ability to take on new responsibilities and learn new processes/ technology with ease.
- Proven experience in demonstrating initiative along with being both resourceful and proactive.
- The ability to accelerate impact and lead change through change management and project management expertise.
- Creativity and innovative ideas of how to approach ways of working.
- Ability to share and implement ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Location:
Hybrid role - 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH - Preferred locations- Guardian home offices located in Bethlehem, PA.
Travel to Guardian offices as determined by the People Leader.
Salary Range:
$67,450.00 - $110,815.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
