Brown Advisory is currently seeking a professional, energetic, and detail-oriented Corporate Travel Manager to craft effective corporate travel policies and monitor traveling activity and programs. The role will be the go-to person for all commercial and private corporate travel needs ensuring travel efficiency and safety. The Corporate Travel Manger will report to the Director of Corporate Real Estate and help to ensure that the firms’ workplace services align with the strategic goals of the firm.
The primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop strategic policies for Brown Advisory’s corporate travel program globally.
Handle and oversee all travel arrangements (air, rail, lodgings, chauffer services etc.) and third-party vendor operations internationally.
Manage relationships with travel agencies, preferred partners, and corporate vendors.
Negotiate preferred rate contracts or rates with travel services, hotels, and other providers.
Provide advice on travel routes, preferred vendors, travel documents, insurance, visa’s etc.
Work with our accounts payable team to handle credit card programs and charges.
Analyze T&E expenses and develop proactive procedures and preferred partner relationships for cost savings.
Ensure compliance in all aspects of corporate travel procedures.
Drive continuous improvement of the corporate travel programs.
Develop key metric reporting for all corporate travel services.
Qualifications, Skills and attributes for success:
10 years of full-time work experience.
Proven experience as a corporate travel manager.
Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and currencies.
Knowledge of T&E reporting and processing.
Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project.
Ability to establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality & Integrity.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language(s)
An ability to work & deliver individually and as part of a team to take on roles as needed in multiple strategic initiatives as leader or team member.
A strategic thinker with ability to look at the bigger picture and who can partner with key stakeholders to drive the direction of a project or initiative.
A talent to use a strategic, solution-oriented approach to achieve business goals.
Salary: $100-145K Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long-term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
