We are looking for a skilled and motivated Account Manager to work with our Gen II Digital team, managing our software clients across a variety of solutions, such as:
- An investor portal that helps fund sponsors increase productivity and communicate better with their investors.
- An analytics platform that allows clients to analyze fund data across numerous metrics and performance KPIs.
- A data integration toolset which allows clients to integrate Gen II fund admin data with both in-house and third-party platforms.
- Electronic subscription software. This electronic subscription software is an easy-to-use tool for investors to quickly complete their paperwork electronically for investing in a sponsors’ fund, deal, coinvest or other types of investments.
The ideal candidate has a passion for customer experience and is the account owner and main point of contact for the customer relationship. They act as the customer’s trusted advisor and work with cross-functional teams to coordinate all activities on the account such as: sales support, services, adoption, advocacy, retention etc. The Account Manager owns the account outcomes such as: renewals, retention and advocacy. This is a pivotal role in the future of Gen II technology growth strategy.
Our software serves 300 clients with over $1 trillion of assets under management and 45,000 LPs.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
- Act as the main point of contact for non-support related requests for a portfolio of clients.
- Training on the products
- Lead product demonstrations and proof of concepts that support sales efforts.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers, key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Engage in internal product discussions, translating customer usage and feedback into actionable insights and feature ideas.
- Identify retention risk and work proactively to eliminate that risk.
- Continuously improve product adoption and build customer advocacy.
- Communicate account performance to internal and external stakeholders regularly.
- Ensure all customer interactions are logged and updated.
- Use metrics and data to continually improve effectiveness.
- Perform regular business reviews with clients.
Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience:
- Proven history of successfully managing Private Equity industry clients.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager or similar role, preferably with SaaS solutions.
- Experience in developing relationships with new customers and solution-oriented selling.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently.
- Knowledgeable on the KPIs used in PE investing.
- Customer-focused, technical skills, professional accountability, teamwork, self-direction and emotional intelligence.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is desired.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with change.
- Ability to effectively work remotely.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
- Experience leading initiatives and succeeding in a team environment preferred.
- Knowledge of the alternative asset and/or legal industry advantageous
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offer within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
Work Arrangement
All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule. This position will work a hybrid work schedule from one of our US based offices, comprised of a minimum of two (2) days a week in our office and three (3) days remote.
