Job Description
Ares Management’s User Support team is responsible for managing the user-facing computer asset lifecycle.As a part of this team, the Asset engineer will be responsible for ensuring all technology assets are inventoried, ordered, recorded, deployed, and disposed as needed.This is a hands-on role, and the individual is expected to have technical capabilities enough to connect equipment properly and perform technical troubleshooting when necessary.

Ordering, receipt, tagging of hardware
E-waste scheduling, pickup, and verification
Forecasting
Performs hardware deployments and reclamations based on ticketed work in Service Now
Prepares, and deploys machines to users
Provides point-support for hardware related issues
Partners with support team where needed to ensure customer satisfaction
Reviews reports, validates findings, and makes changes to reflect asset disposition

Experience Required:
General Requirements:
Experience with using ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
Experience with asset management systems & concepts (Oomnitza preferred)
Familiarity with computer, monitor, docking station and mobile device setup
Ability to receive shipments, tag assets, deploy assets and assess counts
IOS/Android support as it relates to mobile assets
Someone who is not constrained by ‘what is’ but instead thinks of ‘what could be’

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$60,000 - $70,000
