Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic Human Resources team that is innovating and making a positive impact on the people of Ares. We are seeking a dynamic Vice President, HR Optimization leading the Service Operations function. In this role, you will oversee the Service Operations function, managing global HR inquiries, HR Employee Data Management, global onboarding and work authorization, and the execution of day-to-day HR processes and tasks. This role is critical in ensuring seamless HR operations and delivering exceptional service to employees worldwide.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPOSIBILITIES
Service Operations Leadership:
Lead and manage the Service Operations function, ensuring efficient handling of global HR inquiries and requests.
Oversee and direct the Service Operations team, offering mentorship and support to foster team growth and development.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and employee satisfaction.
Develops scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, and others that make up the employment life-cycle.
Provides oversight and ensures strong quality control and review processes are in place to maintain HR Knowledgebase as well as Ares’ internal procedures and guides
Implement and leverage tools to automate processes, enhancing sustainability and scalability.
Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement.
HR Employee Data Management:
Oversee the management and maintenance of HR employee data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.
Implement best practices for data management and continuously improve data processes.
Global Onboarding and Work Authorization:
Lead the global onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
Manage work authorization processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Collaborate with regional HR teams to streamline onboarding and work authorization procedures.
HR Process and Task Execution:
Oversee the execution of day-to-day HR processes and tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Develop and document standard operating procedures for HR processes.
Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
Primary functions and essential responsibilities
Qualifications
Education:
Experience Required:
10+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or related field
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, data management, and HR compliance requirements
Proven track record of leading and optimizing HR service operations/shared services in a global organization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT
Prior experience with Workday (HRIS) required

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$175,000-$215,000
