We are currently seeking an experienced Planning Lead to design, implement and manage a centralized project management platform using Jira, to act as “air traffic control” providing visibility into critical path milestones, dependencies, progress completion, resourcing and execution risk.
This role requires strong project management expertise, proficiency in Jira and experience in leveraging tools such as Power BI to deliver meaningful and insightful reports.
The Planning lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the CCAP Program elements are aligned, tracked and delivered within the timelines whilst proactively reporting on constraints and execution risk.
About The Cybersecurity GRC Team
The Governance Risk & Compliance team is an exciting and growing area of cybersecurity with unique insight into the whole spectrum of our cybersecurity activity at State Street. The Governance Risk & Compliance team is involved in the identification and implementation of identifying inefficiencies in business processes and suggesting improvements and anticipate future needs, understanding Agile methodologies to respond quickly to changes and deliver incremental value to our business, as well as inform our strategy and operations with audiences ranging from daily operational teams to the Board of Directors.
As a member of the Cybersecurity GRC Team, you will have a significant opportunity in making a difference on the team, within the cybersecurity organization, as well as State Street overall.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Developing and Implementing a centralized planning platform to provide real time visibility into program progress, focusing on critical paths, dependencies, milestones, RAG status and resource allocation.
- Leveraging Jira to configure workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools that enable streamlined tracking and management of tasks, deliverables and risks.
- Working with the Project Management Office to establish and maintain planning standards, templates and reporting to drive consistency across the program.
- Working with the Project Management Office to create an ingestion process so as to onboard project plans from other tools such as Excel and MSP onto the Jira platform.
- Working with the Project Management Office to create training materials to support the adoption of the new centralized project management platform.
- Collaborating with workstreams leads to identify dependencies, align project timelines, mitigate risks and address resource constraints.
- Monitoring and reporting on program performance, resource gaps, and potential execution risks, escalating issues and proposing solutions to keep the program on track.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within complex, fast paced programs
- Advanced knowledge of Jira, including workflow configuration, dashboard creation and reporting.
- Strong understanding of critical path analysis, dependency management and milestone tracking
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to collaborate across a diverse team and align stakeholders around a common goal.

Salary Range
$140,000 - $222,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
