Job Summary:
This position is responsible for driving new client acquisition with Enterprise RIAs and Multi-Family Offices throughout the country working in partnership with the Head of Enterprise RIA/Multi-Family Office and the RIA/MFO Specialist. Primary responsibilities are providing support in the development of new business, new Enterprise RIA/MFO relationships, maintenance of existing relationships, responding to requests, and resolving inquiries from RIAs/MFOs regarding our products and offerings. Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Partner with Head of Enterprise RIA/MFO and RIA/MFO specialist in developing new business, coordinating marketing efforts, and servicing existing relationships.
- Help build and cultivate RIA/MFO relationships with key prospects in major financial hubs including New York, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami with emphasis on growing market share across public and private investment solutions.
- Grow centers of influence relationships (RIA Aggregators and Platforms) to create deeper opportunities for distribution.
- Effectively partner with Strategic Accounts, Private Wealth Solutions, National Sales and DCIO.
- Engage with Marketing and Product Teams to create/refine messaging and digital outreach.
- Create and advise on innovative solutions for product and marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate with investment and portfolio specialist teams to continually enrich unique distribution opportunities given the specialized investment approach and offerings.
- Plan and participate in conference calls, due diligence meetings, as appropriate, to promote Cohen & Steers and its products.
- Respond to daily telephone inquiries on performance and position of funds.
- Provides superior service and support to Enterprise RIA/MFOs by responding to requests and resolving account issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant sales experience within Wealth or Asset Management.
- Demonstrated success working with high quality investment organizations, combined with a track record of delivering results at both the strategic and sales levels.
- A thoughtful, strategic style combined with results-oriented execution skills.
- Must have impeccable character, reputation, and strong relationships.
- Team-orientation, integrity, initiative, thoroughness, resourcefulness, interest in continual learning and ability to successfully balance multiple projects.
- Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.
- In-depth knowledge of financial service products, RIA/MFO operating models, supervisory regulations and the sales operations.
- Demonstrates gravitas with excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Must be an outstanding communicator.
- Experience selling or marketing investment products in the field.
