We are hiring a VP, Strategy & Business Development for the Retirement and Workplace business unit. This person will play a critical role in expanding Broadridge’s market presence and forging strong partnerships within the retirement sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of the retirement industry, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for the creation of annual plans and achievements.
In this role you will participate in creating, leading, implementing and managing short term and long term growth initiatives with a primary focus on revenue generation and profitability. Within our product lines of retirement, trust and marketing communications.
In this role you will:
• Develop new market initiatives and assess business opportunities.
• Participate in the development and leading initiatives in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Partnership Development: Establish and nurture relationships with key partners, including retirement communities, healthcare providers, financial advisors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in governance and monitoring of execution of the business development initiatives to ensure business performance and compliance.
• Perform financial feasibility studies and recommend new business opportunities.
• Participate in identifying, developing and leading new market, product and growth opportunities in conjunction with the Retirement team and business unit leaders.
• Identify market, client and industry trends that impact the growth plans and recommend solutions.
• Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders across business units, corporate functions to support alignment of strategies.
• Organize, create and present ideas in an effective, concise way to all levels of management, including C-Suite level.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 10 years Business Development and Strategy experience from Financial Services and/or a top tier Consulting firm is preferred
Knowledge and experience within focus areas, i.e. Retirement, Trust, Marketing Communications
Experience working within a regulated entity is beneficial
Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills with focus on actions and outcomes
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and business units
Proven capability to interact with executives internally and externally
Ability to participate in multiple projects in parallel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to synthesize complex concepts and present information in a compelling manner
