Job Description
The technology team is looking for a Senior Associate to support Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS). In this role, your duties will include managing the AWMS platforms like Salesforce, custom applications and team supporting the platform. A successful candidate for this role will possess a sound understanding of sales, marketing, and client service operations within asset management, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a self-starting attitude.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Salesforce administration, analysis, and support across all AWMS business lines including Sales, Marketing, Shareholder Operations, AREX, FAST, and Strategy Teams.
Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized utilization.
Setting up and supporting Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
Managing the data quality of the sales accounts, contacts, and other data within the CRM and SQL based applications.
Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support.
Engaging with business stakeholders to evaluate their requirements and current challenges, clarify and document business requirements, and help design customized solutions.
Collaborating with team members to provide support for new initiatives, including cross-team workstreams.
Providing best-practice guidance to business stakeholders and internal teams. Identifying opportunities to improve business processes and achieve operational efficiencies.
Establishing strong working relationships with business and technology teams to facilitate adoption and support of technical solutions.
Engaging and actively participating in sprint and release planning discussions; driving efforts to support QA/UAT, user training, and change management throughout all planned iterations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance or equivalent experience in the Asset Management industry.
Salesforce Administrator certification is a must.
Experience Required:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
Experience working in Salesforce with standard objects – account, contact, activity, and opportunity.
Working knowledge of .Net applications.
Expert level skills with SQL.
Experience with electronic forms and e-signature processes using Conga and DocuSign.
Experience supporting stakeholders across seniority levels and effectively maintaining communication across projects and support requests.
Working knowledge of the asset management business domain including processes and data - firm/office/rep and transaction data.
Prior experience with alternative asset management is preferred, broader asset management experience is required.
Experience with Agile project management methodologies – Scrum, Kanban.
Experience with Alteryx is a plus.

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$140,000 - $160,000
